Sylvester Stallone has been married toJennifer Flavin for 29 years. Recently, he opened up about one regret he has about the marriage.
Stallone, now 80, spoke to Tracy Smith for CBS Sunday Morning on Monday, September 28. When asked what he would change or do over in his life, he immediately took the chance to talk about Flavin.
In a romantic declaration, Stallone stated, “I wish I’d married my wife about eight years earlier.” The actor said, “I was like such an idiot, procrastinating. Because you know, I’m still actually learning about relationships that bad.” He also apologized to Flavin, 58, about that delay, saying, “Uh, so I regret that. And I’m sorry, baby.”
Stallone and Flavin met by chance at a restaurant. The Rocky star recalled on an episode of The Family Stallone that it was basically love at first sight. “I was in this dark restaurant, a few people. She came in and, whoa! Something happened. I just felt, like, this jolt, like — ‘Oh, did we just have a minor earthquake or something?’” he said. They married in 1997 and share three children.
Stallone was previously married to Sasha Czack for over a decade. Czack and Stallone had two sons, Seargeoh and Sage. Sage passed away in 2012.
