Grange sells car insurance exclusively through a network of independent agents. In addition to basic auto coverages (e.g., liability, collision and comprehensive), it offers a number of endorsements. These include some found with most auto insurers, such as rental car coverage, and some that are less common, such as new car replacement and original equipment manufacturer parts coverage.
Grange also has discounts to help reduce costs, including a discount if you bundle auto coverage with home, condo or renters insurance.
One potential downside is that Grange is only available in a limited number of states. It offers car insurance in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.
Grange offers many of the discountscommonly offered by car insurance companies. These include a multi-policy discount for bundling car insurance with home, condo or renters coverage, and a paid-in-full discount for paying your full premium up front. You can also earn a discount for enrolling in paperless billing.
Some Grange discounts can provide savings if you have a young driver on your policy. These include a good student discount and an away-at-school discount, which applies when a student on your policy is living at school without a vehicle.
There are also discounts for vehicle safety technology, such as automatic emergency braking and blind spot warning systems. In addition, there is a new beginnings discount for policyholders who’ve recently been divorced.

Grange’s Legacy Loyalty Discount
New policyholders may be able to save with the Grange’s unique legacy loyalty discount. When a child has been covered by a parent or guardian’s policy, they can earn this discount when they leave that policy and start a Grange policy of their own.
