Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI) adalah anak perusahaan dari Chevron yang bertugas mengeksplorasi minyak yang ada di Riau. Sebelum diambil alih oleh Chevron, perusahaan ini bernama Caltex Pacific Indonesia. Para karyawan CPI ditempatkan di 4 kota di Riau yaitu Dumai, Duri, Minas dan Rumbai. CPI juga merupakan perusahaan minyak kontraktor terbesar di Indonesia, dengan produksi sudah mencapai 2 miliar barrel.

CPI pertama kali didirikan di Indonesia pada awal tahun 1924. Standard Oil Company of California (Socal) dan Texas Oil Company (Texaco) membentuk sebuah perusahaan patungan di daerah Sumatra, bernama N.V. Nederlandsche Pacific Petroleum Maatschappij atau NPPM. Perusahaan ini menemukan sebuah sumur minyak non-produktif yang akhirnya ditutup. Pada tahun 1944, ahli geologi NPPM, Richard H. Hopper dan Toru Oki bersama timnya menemukan sumur minyak terbesar di Asia Tenggara, Minas. Sumur ini awalnya bernama Minas No. 1. Minas terkenal dengan jenis minyak Sumatra Light Crude (SLC) yang baik dan memiliki kadar belerang rendah.

1. Health, Environment and Safety Engineer

Deskripsi Pekerjaan

1. Supporting execution of applicable OE Plans at work site related to safety and health.
2. Evaluates workforce safety plans incorporating standard safety minimums to ensure adequate safeguards are in place for high risk/high consequence operations.
3. Supporting execution of project, normal operations and other activities to be implemented in safe manner.
4. Interprets and develops guidance on corporate standardized processes to operations, maintenance and other OE/HES customers.
5. Participates on local workforce safety audits and review teams of field project activities, including site workers and SLT members on the audit team.
6. Resolves recommendations from incident investigations and audits.

Kualifikasi

1. Bachelor’s Degree (S1) majoring in Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety with minimum GPA 2.75.
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in Health, Environment and Safety within Oil and Gas Industry.
3. Knowledgeable about Safety Management System, Incident Investigation and Reporting, Safe Work Practices, Motor Vehicle
4. Safety, Environmental Management, and other HES related issues.
5. Experienced in delivering trainings and coaching.

2. Operational Excellence – Health, Environment and Safety Enginee

Deskripsi Pekerjaan

1. Perform Identification and evaluation Environmental aspect and impact.
2. Develops, coordinates and supervises routine environmental site investigations (site assessment, water resource assessment, environmental baseline, permit compliance, etc.).
3. Provides technical guidance and advice to IBU management to develop risk based solutions to comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards and company policies and processes including applicable environmental performance standards.
4. Responsible for Environmental reporting to GOI and Corporate related to applicable environmental performance standards and permit requirements (especially related to waste aspects).
5. Provides technical support for routine/ incidental government or external agency inspections or investigations.
6. Support GOI PROPER preparation and PROPER verification.

Kualifikasi

1. Bachelor’s Degree (S1) majoring in Engineering or Environmental or Science with minimum GPA 2.75.
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in Health, Environment and Safety within Oil and Gas Industry.
3. Knowledgeable about environmental management, AMDAL, RKL/RPL, environmental laws and regulations, and other environmental related issues.
4. Experiences on developing/revising AMDAL Studies and familiar with implementing Environmental Permit RKL/RPL.

Work Location: Riau
